I make art due to its unquestionable and effective nature in regard to the power of transformation. I am able to explore, rearrange and energetically transmute the deepest parts of myself while creating Art. No other activity or pursuit has been able to intermingle in my life quite like this, from the mundane to the meditative. I strive to depict my sensorial relationship to the world while in tandem providing a bridge to a new understanding of a small part of our immense universe that no one can truly explain in words.
I create medium sized abstract drawings which are oil pastel, ink & watercolor or mixed media.
The Art I am making now is like a tree. The roots have been growing for lifetimes, waiting underneath the earth’s surface like mycelium. Everything is very fortified beneath the surface, this is why when I took everything apart it all retreated back and waited there for me to align in this way. Now we have a strong fortified root system a strong trunk and some branches producing leaves, flowers and seeds. Accessing creativity determined to learn about my Self and my connection to the rest of existence.
Some years back I thought I could stop making Art. I left my Art Studio which took me weeks to dismantle and give away everything.
Then one day I just left.
1000% unsure of what was going to happen but what WAS happening was now OVER. The rest of it in storage.
I didn’t think about it for weeks. Then years. I fiddled with some things but nothing really felt like the me I was then. Things were changing in a huge way spiritually at this time and I needed to do my personal work vs try and be that artist.
Roll the clocks forward right over 2020 – 2023. Sometime in 2023 part of me started to not be able to express herself properly anymore. After so much personal work… so much dislodging of identity so much shedding and rebuilding only to tale me apart again in recent years. I wasn’t about to loop through all of that … again. I chose a different route. I started to teach myself new artistic skills, or remember old ones which gave me a foundation to work from and see what my Spirit wanted to experience when it comes to Art making. I researched. I tested things out.
Eventually started making Art, allowing it to be new.
All of this is so interesting to me considering my consistent Art creation throughout my life (outside of this time). I intuitively could tell everything needed a new origin point- something more REAL or as they say, AUTHENTIC. I had no idea where it was going. I hadn’t CHOSEN yet to have Visual Art making be my mode of Spiritual Connection. Once I did my personal experiences in the world AS WELL AS in Art making completely shifted. This is where the three main areas of creation came from. I chose. They appeared. It made sense. It felt right. I continued.
The Art on this website is from after making this choice (to dedicate to Art making) very consciously. Setting out on a series of intense meditation where I moved through different ways of communicating between the veil to see which was the one that made the most sense to my body and creative energy flow.
Creating Art from the space in between earth and the cosmos is a continual exploration of how I connect to The Divine. Making Art is similar to moving elements around. This is why I use a variety of materials, an elemental experience.

I approach Art making from three distinct directions. In order to create these areas I paid close attention to what I gravitated towards during different earthy cycles.
Noetic: I am inspired by the body. In particular the physical representation of the energy of it. Another main point of interest is our connection to the divine through these bodies. I also find it interesting how different cosmologies over time share different interpretations of the energy of it. This all became a point of exploration where I can combine personal experience & intuitive aspects with elemental philosophies, different mediums and contemplation of different cosmologies. A lot of “mind” is involved.
Pause: I often work in an extremely deep meditative state. These drawings emerge in a particular way moving from pencil to oil pastels. The oil pastels provide an “immediateness” to the work for me by having a large variety of colors at my fingertips. They are also very “earthy” and considering these drawings are coming from an ethereal place they immediately provide a nice grounding contrast.
Body: During certain energetic shifting or influx I create Art work where I am looking to maintain a sense of calm or need to flow with the materials. In this case I am working with very watery materials like ink washes and watercolor. This allows for a lot of movement on the page and with the body because the page is often very wet and I am working in a repeated shape which then creates a motion and a rhythm.
